As well as humans, animals also took the fall during wars. A staggering amount of horses were sacrificed during WWI alone (over 8 million). Purple poppies represent these animals.
This brooch represents not just horses but all animal victims of war. Lest we forget those who served on hoof, paw, and wing.
This brooch is made of layers of laser-cut acrylic pieces; each one hand assembled. It measures mm x mm. Two poppies, red and purple, sit on top of the horseshoe.
Designed, cut, and handmade in Australia.
**Please note** Marbled and glitter acrylics can differ from piece to piece. It may take on a slightly different pattern or even have tiny flaws. This is unavoidable but it is rarely even noticeable.
Please be aware that the colours of my jewellery may be slightly different from those on my website due to camera settings and individual phone and computer screen settings.
