Datura stramonium, known by the common names thornapple, jimsonweed (jimson weed), and devil's trumpet. is a poisonous flowering plant in the Daturae tribe of the nightshade family Solanaceae. Poisonous plants were often used by women in the 18th and 19th centuries to murder and escape their abusive husbands.
These earrings are made from laser-cut and layered acrylic pieces. Each piece is hand assembled and hand painted with care in limited quantities.
Each flower measures 32mm (w) x 65mm (h) and hangs from a 16mm acrylic stud with stainless steel posts. Overall length is 84mm.
